In just one year of operation, Fashion Week Spokane has established itself as a catalytic force for inclusive cultural and economic development within Spokane.

Through two large-scale runway events, an education-based model boot camp, and multiple networking activations, Fashion Week Spokane directly engaged community members, including:

  • 30 designers, boutiques, and vendors

  • 50+ performers and creative professionals

  • 85 models

  • 200+ paying attendees per major event

  • Established fiscal sponsorship through SIMBA

These initiatives generated measurable outcomes across multiple sectors:

Local Economic Impact: Increased visibility, customer access, and revenue opportunities for Spokane-based designers, boutiques, vendors, artists, and small businesses, contributing to the circulation of dollars within the local economy.

Workforce & Career Development: Creation of previously unavailable professional pathways for local and novice models, designers, and creatives through training, mentorship, and live production experience.

Creative Ecosystem Growth: Strengthened networks among models, photographers, brands, artists, and performers, resulting in collaborations and economic activity beyond Fashion Week Spokane programming

Community Access to the Arts: Expanded public awareness and engagement with Spokane's creative sector, equipping consumers to support local artists and businesses through informed, values-driven purchasing.

The 2026 runway show investment will significantly amplity these outcomes by reducing financial barriers to participation, expanding equitable access, and increasing representation across disciplines.

These investments will result in:

  • Higher participation from underrepresented and emerging creatives

  • Increased community representation and inclusion

  • Stronger local business partnerships

  • Expanded economic opportunity within Spokane's creative economy

  • A resilient, community-centered organization positioned for scalable, equitable growth

Fashion Week Spokane's work demonstrates measurable cultural, social, and economic impact, positioning the organization as a long-term driver of inclusive arts access, workforce development, and local economic sustainability in the Spokane region.

If a sponsorship is not the right fit for you, we hope you will consider donating to support Fashion Week Spokane and the impact we continue to have on our community.
